Fantage is another game that I see advertised a lot, but i've avoided it because it's appearance makes it look like its aimed at children rather than teenagers, oh well. I like rainbows and sparkles. I'm currently trying to actually get on the game so I can review it but the loading screen keeps getting stuck, well then.. Luckily, after the first mega-long loading screen, the other loading screens in-game only take a few seconds to load. There are a handful of servers to choose from rather than everyone being shoved into one, which shows there is quite a big player base compared to the previous games i've looked at. Thanks to the whole sticky-loading-screen situation, I had to log into one of the more empty servers so I can actually play the game. The characters are small and pixelated which is pretty cute - and like many games you click the ground to move around. The game itself takes place in what I can only describe as a floating semi-sphere(?) - which is a map, you click on places to go to that area, though the world map is pretty distracting at there are animated notices over the areas. I decided to be Mikhail again on this game - I can't remember how character creation was but I have blond hair so that works. Rather than walking, characters seem to float around - usually on a hoverboard. But for some reason Mikhail has a car... I'm not really able to judge the game itself since i'm not able to play on a server with actual players, but it seems like a nice litte game for a younger audience. Not really something i'd play myself, though. |
