I first signed up to this game a few years ago, and I thought it was a Habbo clone but with animals instead of humans. After a moderator telling me that the game did not copy Habbo at all and that he could see no similarities, I rolled my eyes and left. Oh well, take two! There are currently 44 players online, not the biggest player base but not the worst, either - but it seems that there are only 3 users inside rooms. A little disappointing. You start off as a rabbit, but you can change which animal you are - including a dog, cat and mouse. Like i've said, the game is very similar to habbo - even if that moderator denied it. Some of the public areas are more like rooms than areas since they are made up of furniture which you can buy for yourself. The chat system is also the same, appearing towards the top of the area and going up after time. Navigation is smiliar to the older version of Habbo, but BittyBay also has a map that you can use to go to other places. Oh, it's your usual click-to-move game with regular chatting, by the way. You can use navigation to make your own habitat where you can choose a shape for your room, choose what type of room your territory is, whether others get rights, whether the room is open, password locked, completely locked or if visitors have to ring the doorbell. You need member credits to do a lot of things such as chose a colour for the animals stated above, or to buy different animals. You also need credits to buy most of the furniture, floors, wallpaper, etc. but there is however, some free furniture to choose. Anyway, I'm not a fan of being an animal - and not a fan of games where you have to either be a member or have member credits just to be unique so yeah. Although there are a handful of people online, only three users seem to be in areas/rooms. The game recently had its 8 year anniversary so there are obviously players who are keeping it going, but it's not for me. |
