Here's another game i've personally never heard about or played before so this is my first look at it. It seems that you can only be female on this game - you have the choice of 5 avatars at the start, each based off a different style. You can choose between sporty, glamorous, girly, nerdy and scene. Once you have chosen your style, you can customize your hair, skin, eyes, makeup, and clothes if you chose to. You're not allowed to type in your own name, instead you choose 2 words from lists to make your name. Oh, and it shoves some random numbers on the end. Once in the game, you are given a very quick tutorial which tells you how to walk, look at the map and go through doors. There is, however, a question mark that once pressed will give you a list of explanations on things in the game. The world map is separated into places to hang out, shops, places with games and restaurants. In areas you can play mini games, and take pictures, as well as the usual click to walk. You can also click on certain furniture to interact with it - mainly sitting, I think. You can also turn lamps on and off by clicking on them. Since there are only girls as playable characters, there are male NPCs who you can talk to and date. Yep. I'm actually laughing at how strange this is - you can say some pretty weird things to the guys and they actually reply to what you say. Also if you say something too weird then they just stop talking. You can build your friendship with the boys and make them have a crush on you, but you have to be a member to date them. Oh, if you can't find a guy you've met in an area, then you can text them too. This game is actually really cute. The avatars aren't as awkward looking as a few of the other games i've reviewed and the areas are cute too, it's nice being able to walk from place to place as well as using a map. The music is very repetitive and gets annoying after a while but atleast there is different music in different areas. Overall, it's a cute game - but it's most likely aimed at a younger audience. There isn't much of a playerbase, judging from how many people i've seen while playing. I think i've seen 4 or 5 people? But that may be due to the time since it's now 11:30am on a weekday. I do think the fact that you have to have a membership to do a lot of things would put a lot of people off playing. |
