So I received an email inviting me to be part of the Closed Beta of a new game called Chronicals of Nerdia - ahh I only just realised what they did there.. The email included a Beta Key for me to take part.
Despite being a new game, the start game customisation options are pretty nice! You can change your body type - even the girls can be muscular, eyes, lips, hair, chin, nose, eyebrows, ears, and misc things such as tattoes, bite marks, plasters, and other random markings. It's nice that all of the features have a choice between comical and casual. After creating your character, you can choose your name of course - then you're welcomed into the game!

Once in the game, you are taught about missions. Missions give you money and experience points - as usual, experience points let you gain levels. When you level up, you are given skill points to boost your stats, which are strength, stamina, intelligence and evasion. Your equipment also contributes to your stats. You need to train your stats in order to be successful in duels against other players.
You can buy new equipment in the shop. Rather than being able to view all the stock, you can view 9 items at a time, and the stock refreshes every 12 hours - or you can use a lollipop (one of the currencies) to refresh it. You can buy more lollipops using real money, but there is another currency called Zuero which you can earn by working in-game.
Other than battling other people, i'm not sure if there is a social aspect to this game - which is weird because the whole thing is in a game rather than clicking on pages of a website. However, there are 3 buttons on the toolbar which aren't in use yet so maybe it's a feature they'll be adding at a later date.
Honestly, i'm not sure what you're meant to do on this game other than dueling - I think that's the whole focus. You do quests for money and experience to level up, then get skill points from leveling up to become stronger and use you're money on better equipment to beat more nerds. If that is infact the whole game then I honestly don't really see this game being around for long since it has been done many times before by website-based games.
