I found this game quite enjoyable compared to the past games that I have reviewed. However the game is a little laggy, and crashes after a while of gameplay - this has happened ever time I have been on SuperSecret. You start the game by being lead into a club(?) - again, like a few of the other games, there is no tutorial. At first, I thought that the whole game took place in this club because I couldn't figure out what to do, but it turns out if you exit through the door you came through, then you can go into town. Character customization isn't great, there are very limited styles - unless you have the game's membership (the type that costs real money). There are a few buildings in town that if you run into, you start up a minigame - which brings a big lag so I reminded myself not to run at any buildings, haha. You live in your own apartment, but I don't think you can interact with the furniture - unless standing on top of your television counts! :D Something that I like about this game is that hidden around the town, in awkward places (such as on the side of buildings, on top of umbrellas, etc.) there are giftboxes which contain furniture for your apartment! Very clever. I found myself throwing myself in the water off the dock several times trying to get a giftbox that I couldn't quite reach. I got it in the end, though. The game is nice but there doesn't seem to be many players around, and the ones I have encounter seemed to be AFK. With a bigger player base and more customizable characters, I think the game could be something pretty special. |
