Male, Female, or Animal? That definitely caught my attention when I signed up, but I went ahead with female anyways.
This game is very unique in it's own right - even without the 'animal' option... Appearance wise, it looks a lot like The Sims - characters included. There's no character customization when you start the game, other than the gender choices, but you can change your appearance somehow (since the other players don't look like mine!) but i'm not quite sure how....yet.
TirNua has a 'green' theme running through it, giving you facts about the environment and telling you methods in which you can be green - such as running on a treadmill to generate power! You have your own garden where you can grow vegetables, too.
Honestly, I don't understand the world map. It has a lot of hexagons and tells you how much pollution is on that lot? Not sure what it's all about, really.
This seems to be another game with a rather small player base, as I encountered a total of 3 other players during my time here. Those players did mention the name of another user, though, so maybe i'm just on at an inactive hour.
Due to the fact that I don't understand the game, and that i'm not really savvy on saving the environment, I don't think that I will be returning here often. Maybe I will in the future and see if I understand it a bit better.
