This game reminds me of Club Marian for some reason (I may review that at some point!). The game starts with a nice tutorial that tells you how to move, how to change your looks, how to play mini games, and so on. After that, you find yourself on 'Sol Island', free to walk or run around as you wish - depending on whether you're holding SHIFT or not. There are several portals on the island that teleport you to different regions to explore. Character design is...well.. I'm not really a fan of realistic looking avatars. Even the way in which your character stands is somewhat realistic. Some of the clothes are buggy, going through your character's skin an hair but they did a good job considering the avatars are lifelike. This is another game that looks like it has a small player base, but this may be for the fact that NPCs look exactly like normal players so it's hard to tell which they are! OH. I encountered a real player - they appear as a blue dot on the mini map. But there are male characters walking along the beach on Sol Island who are actually NPCs so that's a little confusing. Anyway. This is a fun game for running around and jumping on everything, but not the type of game I would spend longer than a half hour playing. |
