It's been 10 days since my last review - i've been a little busy with my birthday and sorting out other things (and playing a whole lot of SSB4!) but i'm back with another review! Today's game is another that my friend suggested to me. I've personally not heard of it so it should be fun trying something new. When creating an account, you're given the choice of 6 avatars - 3 boys and 3 girls - to choose from, each having it's own pet. Like Amazing World and Spark City Life, your name is assembled by picking words from lists. The game is currently lagging greatly, but hopefully that'll stop once i'm ingame. I haven't the patience to see through all of the words in all 3 lists because of the lag so i'll stick with "Lazy PlanetLady". I think that fits, anyway. You start the game in your own room, and are then given 3 missions to start off with. The first is to change your look. You are given a range of tops, trousers (and skirts), shoes, as well as customisation options such as hair, eyes, eyebrows, noses, mouths and skin tone. For each option, you are given a bunch of colours to chose from to change the item's colour. The second mission is to decorate your room, again, you are given some items to decorate your room with. You can also change the colour of these items, too. These items can be fliped and moved around your room. The pet that came with the avatar that you chose can be placed into your room to play with. The third mission is to explore the shop where you can buy clothing, accessories, pet toys, furniture, fun stuff and gardening things. I think i'll buy some clothes since I look pretty basic at the moment. Selling clothes both in sets and individually is a nice idea - and I like that there are rpg style sets (knight, thief, king, princess, etc.). Unfortunately, a whole lot of items are for members only - I may have to be a member to be a queen, but I can be a king without one. You use a world map to navigate, and once in an area you click the ground to move your character. Like many of the other games I have reviewed, you can make your character dance, and there are several emotions that appear above your head once clicked. Since it's aimed at a younger audience, the players are generally more quiet - though they do say "hey" or "hello" now and then. The lag in this games makes it quite hard to play since you have to wait a few seconds every time you click somewhere. So because of that, my review shall end here for now. The game overall is pretty good, and like a few of the past games i've reviewed, it's a nice game for a younger audience but not something that someone of my age would be interested in as such. |
