If this review is lazy it's because i'm focused on Eurovision right now, haha! I haven't heard of this game before so it should be interesting trying out something new. When you sign up, you select your age (gosh I feel old pressing 18+) then pick a colour for your chobot. Once in game, you are given the option on whether or not you want to have an introduction to the game. Since i'm often left clueless, I think i'll follow it to see what the game has to offer. Every time you enter an area, you get a chat bubble telling you what you can do in that area. "To help you avoid roaming around or getting lost in the city, we placed a map here. You can unfold it to see where you are and where you want to go. Just click on the place you’d like to find yourself in to get teleported there. We decided to stick to the “there are more ways than one to skin a cat” principle. Another way to get to other locations is by clicking on the edge of the map or on the arrow." Um.. Well, as i've said before. I enjoy games that give you the option between walking or using the map. That's a bit of a weird way to tell children that you can do that, though. The map is of the city - the milky way (hehe) - but it's hard to tell what is meant to be what on the map. Luckily, you can see what's what by putting your mouse over it and it'll tell you what it is. Since playing this game, i've seen no other players at all. Maybe i'm on at the wrong time? Or maybe because it's too typical? The only customisation option you're given is colour, and there is nothing particularly interesting in the game other than a few mini games. You can customise yourself by buying clothing items, hair, masks, etc. from a shop, but the prices vary greatly - some items are incredibly expensive for no particular reason. It doesn't actually tell you, but I found out two thing! First, you have your own house. Second, you have a wardrobe in your house with some clothes and wigs. Unfortunately, you have to be a citizen to wear the costumes that you already have. Anyway, back to the player situation. There seems to be some active players, since the game has a forum that has a handful of people posting on it. Ironically, there's a post on the forum saying that the game is dead and that the moderators aren't doing enough to get more players, and keep players active. So that's where this review ends. I'm not quite sure what actually does keep the very few active players on the game. |
